August 2nd this year, marks 40 years since the establishment of Disprax Pty Ltd (now WilldooIT). Where have the years gone?
It seems like yesterday that we started the business. We had 3 employees in the early 90’s working out of a converted butcher’s shop in Gardenvale, Victoria. Here we are today as the PNORS Technology Group with 90+ staff working from our physical offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth and supporting 700+ clients throughout APAC.
We are proud of our history and longevity and have already started celebrating this milestone with our valued clients and staff, many of whom have been with us for 25+ years. We have amazing staff and I thank them all for their loyalty and great work in driving the Group forward.
Disprax was set up to coincide with the development of timber industry business management software solution, TIMMS. TIMMS, together with new generation cloud based TIMMSanywhere, remain leading providers of timber industry software in our region.
Since then, strategic business acquisitions and mergers within the technology space have led to the formation of the PNORS Technology Group, incorporating WilldooIT, Pacific Commerce, Netway Networks and Datatime Services. All companies offer products and services in their own areas of expertise, combined they deliver an integrated offering to run a connected and modern enterprise.
I am equally as excited about the future. Our company currently has more opportunities to grow and thrive than at any other time over the past four decades.
We are investing in internal innovation projects, system automation and technology upgrades across the Group to ensure our services remain relevant, and the requirements of our clients are met as new challenges and opportunities arise.
Expansion into overseas markets will provide our teams with new challenges and amazing individual personal and professional growth opportunities.
I was asked recently what it was that motivated me to keep going and grow the business. For me, it is seeing the growth of our staff and excitement around the opportunities we have. I want to see how far we can take this business into the next decade.
